I was trying to revive an old weather station although the power booster did charge the battery. It appears the circuit board on the weather station has gone bad, so the power booster accessory did it's job. If anyone has a weather station circuit board, they would like to sell reasonably let me know.
With the power booster I was able to connect a gel cel with solar panel so that during the occasional weeks when there isn't enough sunlight to keep my tempest powered, there is plenty of power to spare. I love it!
I needed another battery power booster and ordered by mistake, as they look similar.
As most of the problems I have had with the tempest has been power issues at the unit, I spent a bunch of money on a backup power supply.
So my hub can stay awake while the tempest looses power.

I followed the directions exactly to charge my Tempest with batteries. After one week, the battery voltage has increased from 2.30 all the way up to 2.32. Still in ECO mode so I’m not sure what the point is. However, they got more money from me so maybe that is the point. The tempest was sold as a solar charging device (has been replaced once for free) but I think it was oversold as was this battery charger.
