Solved my problem

I’ve had the Tempest weather station a few months now and haven’t yet had a chance to mount it on the house in direct sunlight. It was working great in a temporary location when it was warmer and the sun was higher. The last few weeks I was getting notifications that it lost connection due to lower battery voltage. After connecting the power booster I’ve had no problems. It fixed the problem at a low cost until I’m able to mount the station when the weather warms up. Great solution.

Full battery 24/7

I keep my booster plugged in day and night, so my station always has the battery life to get as much readings as possible. Love it

Low power mode no more

Fixed the issue of the unit going into low power mode or completely turning off during week long rain events.

Exactly what you need in the PNW

After having the Tempest for a year mine started to have problems charging in the winter (I think the trees on the hill to the south of me have grown to block the afternoon sun). This was exactly what I needed for the winter. Using lithium batteries it’s easy to recharge and swap out batteries. Waterproof and well made.

Good product

All parts there, easy to assemble and put up. Working well. Living in the cloudy Michigan winter the Tempest unit went on-off several times a day in reporting to the mother ship. This fixed unit the problem. Ouch on the cost of the lithium batteries to get it to work. But not Tempest's fault there.
